232271 Posted September 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2007 First We are doing the Northbound out of Vancouver, July 19, 2008, Saturday to Saturday, which nights will be formal nights? Second, We are in Juneau till 9 pm and Skagway till 830 PM, should we choose anytime dining, or keep our early seating, since we are allowed to stay off ship didnt know if we would feel rushed coming back so early for dinner, anybody have any experience with this? Third, Is the food the same in the anytime dining area's? What about the buffet offered at night? similar food? any advice appreciated as this is our first ship that offers anytime dining and later port times, so we are not sure as to what to do.
AKatlast Posted September 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2007 We were on the Diamond 3 weeks ago. The formal nights are Sunday and Thursday. We did the anytime dining for the reason that you stated. We didn't want to feel rushed while in port. Anytime dining was great! You can choose the dining room and the time that suits you. The food is the same in all the dining rooms. We found a dining room that we liked best and returned there several nights, but also tried the others. We also tried Sabatini's one night and it was definitely worth the cover charge. Enjoy!
