Table Tennis on Spirit?

We'll be on the Spirit December 2, and I would like to know if there are ping pong tables on the ship. We normally bring our own paddles and balls on our cruises, but I'm not even sure if NCL ships have ping pong tables. Thanks!

THANK YOU! The more I read about NCL, the more nervous I become. I guess after 8 cruises in a row with Carnival I've become very comfortable with the familiar, and while it's exciting to try something new, it's also scary. I'm looking forward to experiencing something different, though, and also to visiting some ports we've never been to. And after 8 visits to Cozumel, I think we might just stay on the ship that day and have our own little ping pong tournament!!!

I have been on a number of ships and to be honest the Spirit has become one of my favourites. It's not super huge, yet it has everything that you will need. I found the meals to be superior to Carnival, and often better than Princess. I have booked the Spirit again for a Dec cruise. I really like the anytime dining and found the staff to be wonderful.....feel confident they will treat you well............enjoy

I really enjoyed the Spirit, and would cruise aboard her anytime, depending on the itinerary. The cabins were adequate, the kids club, and the two pool areas were fantastic. I loved the Blue Lagoon, the fish and chips at the Pub, the dining room was above average, despite the vibration at the very back of the ship, and the ship was easy to navigate. The downside when I curised, was the casino, which I found simply thrown together, and cramped. Now please understand this was before the refit, and I don't know how things have changed since then.;)

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking more and more forward to this cruise. We just returned this morning from a 5 day cruise on the Carnival Fantasy, so now I can officially begin counting down to our Spirit cruise! The Fantasy is also an older/smaller ship, so I have no worries about liking the Spirit. I'm just concerned about all the "little things" I guess - one thing I'm not happy to learn about is that the kids' program isn't free during the day on port days. We often return from port early on our Carnival cruises, and the kids go to Camp Carnival from 2-5 to see their friends and have some downtime before dinner. I'm sure we'll find some things to do with them on the ship, and I'm glad I know about this ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. I find that knowing what to expect makes all the difference, which is what makes Cruise Critic so fabulous.

 

I look forward to the meals on the Spirit - after 8 cruises with Carnival I think I know every appetizer, entree, and dessert by heart! It will be nice to sample some new things. If we enjoy this trip we're going to plan to do the NY to NOLA repositioning cruise year after next.

We met someone on the Fantasy this week who was supposed to be on the Spirit 12-2 as well, but she got a better deal for 12-9 and changed her booking. I was disappointed, because I thought it would be neat to see each other on the next cruise and compare notes about the two cruises!
