Seven Mile Beach?

Going to Grand Cayman in Feb. We would like to make it a beach day. Is Seven Mile Beach the best place to spend the day? If so, where exactly should we go and what is there to do in that area?

If you do a search you'll find several suggestions on 7 mile beach. Sea Grape beach is a great choice, esp if there aren't a lot of ships in port. We loved SG and it is free entry but charge for chair. There is a food stand right there too and umbrellas for rent. Vendors as well to braid your hair or sell wares. We bought sand toys from the vendor and they were a hit.

 

We did Hyatt once and it was lovely but you need a daypass. The chairs are heavenly with a built in canopy shade and the pool is small but beautiful.

 

Cemetary (sp?) Beach is mentioned a lot.

 

Courtyard Beach and the beach by Comfort Suites are also recommended.

 

Finally there is a good one called simply "Public Beach" I believe.

We just grab a cab and tell the driver what we like and they do the rest.
