What should we not miss doing in Cozumel?

We were in Cozumel in July. We did the dune buggy excursion. Loved it!!!

We are trying to decide whether to repeat it or choose another excursion. Need some ideas. Thanks.

When u did the buggy excursion did it leave you much time for anything else??? First time cruiser, sorry I cant help you with your question although I did find a site for Kiteboarding. http://www.cozumelkiteboarding.com/default.asp

I would recommend you do something very different from what you can do at other ports during your cruise. Remember that Cozumel is part of Mexico which is a fabulous country that has tons to offer. You should rent a car and for the first stop, I really recommend you visit Discover Mexico Park, since it is something that you wont see elsewhere. It's very impressive and you will live the real mexico like never before...

 

Then, you should drive south to Punta Sur national park, where you will enjoy the most beautiful beaches on the island, plus you will see fantastic wildlife such as spoonbills, corcodiles, turtles and much more. Then, continue your journey around the island and stop for lunch and drinks at Coconuts (they have the best fajitas !!). Then, just continue around the island and stop at Los 5 Soles Store for some shopping, before you head back to your pier. This is the prefect day !!:cool:

Next time i'm in cozumel I want to go to chankanaab national park.. All the pictures I am seeing are absolutely beautiful!
