FishPunkin Posted September 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2007 My kids (11 and 14) want to do one of the sting ray excursions. Each of the ports of call has this available -- Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk. Just wondering if anyone has done any of these and which would be better and is it a few or a bunch. I can't help but relate this to whale watching where they can't "guarantee" you'll see a whale.
Ms411 Posted September 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2007 I don't know about the ships' excursions, but I think Coral World has some kind of sting ray attraction. If this is where the excursion goes, then you're guaranteed to see them, because they're in a tank. I know they have regular stingray feedings there where you can see the divers feeding the stingrays, and they may have modified this to make it user friendly for park visitors. ManOfTheYear Posted September 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2007 We were at Coral World a few years ago. There were lot of Sting Rays, Turtles, Sharks and lots of beautiful fishes. St. Thomas, is our favorite island in the Caribbean.:)
