I've Searched and Searched

But I can't find what is within walking distance of Hyatt Pier 66. Is there a drug store or grocery store nearby? Has anyone stayed there recently? What about the renovations, are they almost finished?

 

We are trying to find a 3-4 star hotel for 10/20/07. We are going a cruise the next day.

 

Since we are not renting a car, we will have to walk to the nearest drug store or grocery store to pick up our last minute supplies for the cruise.

 

We've narrowed it down to Hyatt Pier 66 (as long as there are stores nearby) Embassy Suites and Amerisuites. We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel last December and would like to try something different. We are familiar with all the fantastic restaurants, stores etc. in that area.

Michelle, you don't have to walk anywhere. The Sun Trolley runs in front of the hotel every 15 minutes. For 50 cents it'll take you by drug stores, supermarkets, restaurants and shopping. ;)
