Newbie Question about Pre-Reserving Shore Excursions

Won't be departing until March so unable to pre-reserve shore excursions right now, but I was wondering how that works. Once I reserve through the cruise personalizer, and later change my mind, can I cancel? Is there a cancellation fee?

No cancellation fee, and you don't actually pay for the shore X until you get onboard. So, you can reserved whatever you wish and cancel up until the time printed in the Princess Patter onboard or online up until they close your booking about 5 days prior to your sailing. This is for 99.9% of shore excursions. Only a few I have ever seen can not be cancelled once booked, but those are for more exotic cruises such as overnites to Cairo in Egypt.
