Cruising during the easter holidays?

Because i work in a school, we can only take holidays during school holidays.

 

So our 2 week cruise will be in the british easter holiday period during march 08. Is this the same time for the american spring break?

 

We would be travelling on March 24.

 

Also, does it become very crowded during these times? Would it feel very crowded on a smaller ship like the sea princess?
