jcallcut Posted August 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2004 Happy Friday !! Quick question regarding the blackjack rules on the Summit (or any Celebrity ship). Do they allow you to surrender your hand, and if so, can you surrender at any time, or just after the first two cards are dealt? Under three weeks till I leace for my 14 days on the Summit!!! Thanks for your help, Jim
plvogel Posted August 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2004 Typical casino rules. No surrender, dealer hits soft 17, stands on hard 17. You can purchase insurance if the dealer shows an Ace, although unless you have a blackjack, it's a sucker bet.

RichardK Posted August 28, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 28, 2004 plvogel>>>>I saw that subtle change on my last cruise -- i.e., the dealer hitting now on a soft 17. Though very minimal it does increase the house advantage just a bit!!
