sdf89 Posted August 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2004 Ok, I should just relax and call Radisson in the AM, but wondered if someone can reassure us tonight... Months ago, we made our booking of a Navigator class D room. As it turned out there was a free 2 class upgrade, so we are paying at F class. We received a specific stateroom with our fax from Radisson. Today we received our docs and it only states guarantee stateroom class F. Surely, we are still in our original assigned stateroom??? We're anxious to not be further aft due to vibration issue. Otherwise, we are so excited!!
Ngaire Posted August 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2004 Radisson is open on Saturdays and if you are showing an F guarantee it may be that you dont have the same stateroom or a specific stateroom. The computer cannot print anything but the F price you paid until a cabin is actually assigned. Even though it says F category you will have the upgrade confirmed to a D category with the two category guarantee. It is just the way the computer works. HOWEVER, a set cabin is a different thing altogether. If you had an "actual" cabin number and that is now gone I am concerned your cabin is no longer assigned. sdf89 Posted August 28, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted August 28, 2004 Ngaire, you're right on both accounts: The computer needed to put down F since that was the class we paid. However, our stateroom was moved from starboard to port and a little more forward. So strange... the Radisson person could not explain the change. We did not care about the side of ship and are happier with the further forward... They assured us that this is our final stateroom.
