Sao Paulo to Santos

The distance is about 75k so it takes 2hrs.

Perhaps if you ask over on the south American boards you will have more luck...

Why do you say you cannot have transfers - if your flight arrives the day of the cruise then you can take the transfer - it costs £30pp one way.

We arrive in Brazil 1 week before the cruise because we want to see the Rio carnival and then go to Iguassu Falls. I have checked with RCCL and they have confirmed that we cannot have their transfers as we are not arriving on that day.

Yup - you're right - definitely no transfers for you!

We have arranged our own flights so cannot book transfers through RCCL.

Does anyone know the cost of a taxi from Sao Paulo to Santos or any tour operater who we can ask for a transfer quote?

I've beenon the SA boards and from the hotel area (Hyatt & Hilton) to the pier is about $75 according to the posters on the thread.

We did this transfer with a private cab company. It costs about $75. A taxi would be about the same. They are plentiful, you should have no problem if you negotiate the fare in advance.

One poster says that it is 75k so takes 2 hours. This is not quite true. Our trip was 90km, but because it was a Sunday, only took just over 1 hour. It depends on trafic and time of day.
