Advantage rental car-partnered with a European rental car company (can't remember the name). You can book on the US Advantage site. It is actually at a car dealer in Vina (5 minute trip from the ship). I booked using the internet from the ship.

Any advice on driving in Chile without speaking the language?

We will be driving from Santiago to vina del mar.

I have driven in Spain once eons ago in my youth, although I do not speak Spanish.

Road signs are pretty international. South America runs on the "drive on the right side of the road", like the US. It is a toll road between Valparaiso and Santiago, so MAKE SURE to get Chilean pesos. They do not take US dollars. There is a Mikey D's in the toll plaza, so you should feel right at home. Wineries galore off the toll road. Gorgeous views driving around Vina del Mar in the hills.
