Do you need reservations for horses?

I haven't yet decided on which company to book with for horseback riding in Aruba. If I choose not to book in advance, what's the likelihood that I could arrange with one of the ranches when our ship docks there at the port? Are they usually booked up in advance?

Thanks,

Kev

I am not sure you would want to venture to Aruba without reservations from September 29th through October 6th due to a large Poker Tournament being held. I know for a fact that 2 resorts on Palm Beach are entirely sold out and from what I understand there is very limited availability elsewhere.

In addition I read in another forum today that people are having difficulties obtaining restaurant reservations through the first 3 weeks of October. Do not know what else is happening on the island, but it does sound as if it is going to be a busy time.
