Tedimed Posted September 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2007 Sorry for too many questions, but I am first time cruiser and I do not know many things. QuestionI am thinking about Eastern Caribbean cruse, but I am not sure about date…November 10 or December 8. Because my kid like to be in the sea, as well as his father,:D I assume that in November water in CC and other two islands will be better. Is that correct? Question I found TA on internet which gave me the best quote (better than Disney and rest of the TA). What is your experience with TA (they have web site, address in Florida and they stated they are member of BBB) on the Internet? Thank you in advance!:)
mom x4,grandma x4 Posted September 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2007 We have done a few November cruises, including this upcoming November. The water was cool, but warm enough to get in and swim. The problem at CC is the wind. It is always windy and sometimes that makes it feel cooler when you get wet. sorry no comment on TA. mom x4,grandma x4

yndygo Posted September 22, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2007 the TA's name has been blanked out - but I can say that we had one TA quote us a much lower rate than anyone else - and I found out after committing that it was b/c they were omitting the insurance... but at first it was b/c she gave me the quote for the wrong cruise, so we thought we had booked a 4-day, but it turned out to be a 3-day, and by the time a week later I discovered the error, it would've cost $1500 more for the one extra day... :( If someone is giving you a rate 'too good to be true' on DCL, look into it, b/c it might just be. BoardwalkBabe Posted September 23, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2007 We've gone in late October and the water can be cool - especially at Castaway Cay. We're sailing later than that this year so I'm expecting CC to be even cooler but not so much the other locations.
