danceman Posted September 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2007 nice and noisy cabin right underneath the kitchens which they clean from 1am to 4am and then start again at 7am......ill gaurantee there is no way you can sleep in it! It took 2 days and about 16 arguments to get moved but they only had 2 two berth cabins so me and the wife and kids had to be split up....really romantic!....not! The crew said they've had a number of complaints about this and other cabins regarding noise.
delphine30 Posted September 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2007 i'ms so sorry for you, it would be a very bad souvenir.. I tried to book every time a cabin not under the resaurant et not under swimming pool because, specially on costa, there's a lot of noise under these decks. monicajay Posted September 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Danceman, Sorry this cabin didn't work out for you. Sometimes a bad choice of cabin can't be avoided. In this case I would think you might have noticed from the deck plan that there was something overhead. You can always ask your T.A or the cruiseline directly. We made the mistake once. Last cruise we had cabins beside us, under us and on top was the photo shop. I didn't think that would be noisey and it wasn't but I reserched before and choose the cabin number carefully. You seem to have been on many cruises, is this the first time you had a problem?
