Beth & Rob Posted September 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2007 Besides using the jacuzzi's and spas, will there be opportunity for swimming both on and off the ship? I wonder if I need a new swim suit? Thanks

stanjj111 Posted September 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2007 We are going to be in the Med on Nov 2. I understand from others on the board that swimming is not an option unless your ship has an enclosed area.
Taf Posted September 23, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Off the ship - it depends on where you are going. We were in Turkey Oct last year and it was very hot. The beaches looked inviting and people were swimming in the ocean. In Corfu it was warm, but I didn`t wish I´d got my cossie with me! I`m sure there is a website with average temperatures for each place you`ll going - try a search on google
Rare carlmm Posted September 23, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2007 It depends on where your cruise goes. Obviously the chances are better the further south you are. Swimming will most certainly be possible on the coast of northern Africa, on Cyprus and maybe some other islands. On the other hand the temperatures will most likely be not too inviting eg. on the French coast.
