in November the cruise we're going on has a stop in Grand Bahama. I'm not really finding any information on this port. Can someone lead me in the right direction??

thanks snorkle2much. looks like you aren't a huge fan of freeport. i guess we should just jump a cab to our lucaya. do you know if it's hard to get a cab back to port?

From all I've read, it's ridiculously easy to get a taxi back and forth between the "main" tourist areas and the cruise port. I wouldn't worry about it.

 

We live 45 minutes from Cocoa Beach, and 50 minutes from Daytona Beach, and go to Nassau all the time, so we were really looking forward to seeing something quite different over at Paradise Cove on Grand Bahama.

 

I'm sure Lucaya Beach and the hotels/beaches there are quite lovely, but we had a fantastic time poolside on the Lido deck that day.:D
