scz533 Posted September 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Hello All: We are taking the Seven Seas Navigator cruise on the June 7 Athens to Monte Carlo in '08. Just wanted to ask those of you who have been in the area that same time of year - will it be warm enough to swim? I'm not much for frigid water, but we will be spending a few days in Nice after the cruise and I would love to bathe in the beautiful Mediterranian if it won't make me turn blue. thanks. Sandra You will be able to swim, but it won't be as pleasant as in August. Mind you, we took a dip in Mykonos this August and it wasn't pleasant at all . . .until you got right in! kdowneymd Posted September 25, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2007 In JUne it will be quite chilly. You can definitely go in, but it will be getting your feet and ankles wet first then knees, then to your hips. Coming from Texas, if your experience is the gulf or Florida waters, this is different, but very beautiful and worth getting wet and getting to where you dunk your head. scz533 Posted October 5, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted October 5, 2007 Looks like the best advice is just to take the plunge and dive right in! I'd rather be swimming in the cold waters of the Mediterranian, than working any day. ;)
