asrey04 Posted August 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2004 I will be going on the Sea in Jan and was curious as to whether you can get chips for the tables using your sea pass-id card or whatever they call it at NCL. I know with RCCL I was able to but wanted to be sure if it was possible with NCL. Also, that way if I am running low on cash for other things I can buy chips and then turn them in getting cash back. My sea pass card will be guaranteed with a credit card so having cash on that account won't be an issue. Thanks for and help.
johnql Posted August 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2004 Yes, you can charge chips to your onboard account at the casino cashier. There is no surcharge for the service, unlike Princess where they charge a 3% fee (one of my few complaints about Princess).
tawcat Posted August 31, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2004 I believe there is a cash limit, either per day or per cruise, that you can put on the onboard account. Sorry I can't remember the limit amounts, but they have a sign near the casino cashier cage with this info posted. Good luck.
