Santiago Hotels - Do they pick up from Pier?

We are spending one night in Santiago after getting off the ship in Valparaiso. We would like a tour of Valpariaso, etc. before being dropped off at a hotel in Santiago. A Santiago tour would be nice, too. Do any hotels provide this transfer, tour, etc. with their hotel rates? Thanks.

I sure didn't see any when we were looking. If you want to transfer cheap (no tour) the bus is supposed to be quite close to the pier (and actually very nice) for about $6US. I 'think' I saw it mentioned in Foder's/Frommer's. There are private guides that will povide the tour/transfer for much more. I believe the cruise lines also sell the transfers.

 

These days you're lucky to get a hotel with airport transfers, the port is over an hour away..... ;)

Valparaiso is over an hour from Santiago. I doubt any hotel does a shuttle. Do a tour around the coast Vina del Mar, Renaca and a winery on way to Santiago.

Try www.turismonuevomundo.cl. We are taking a tour of Valparaiso, Vina del Mar and Santiago the day our ship docks. They will pick us up at the ship and deliver to the hotel after about a 7 hour tour. Cost for 8 of us is about $48 each.
