hlv71 Posted September 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2007 I just got an e-mail saying my Dolphin Discovery excursion in St. Martin had been cancelled. Does anyone know why they do that?
Sue L Posted September 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2007 we got canceled when one of the boats used to bring the tour to the snorkeling spot broke down.So it could be something similar. Just pick out a new one.
bass-notes Posted September 28, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2007 One of our excursions got cancelled several days after we booked. In our case, I found that the company that handles the bookings subcontracts with individuals that operate the excursions. The excursions operator informed the booking company that they were full when the booking company thought they still had room. We just went with another excursion. msraye Posted September 28, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 28, 2007 On one trip to Alaska, my trip to see bears was cancelled. The tour desk told me they had cancelled ALL trips with that provider as they had had TWO crashes within the past 2 weeks!! Luckily for me she put me on the wait list with the other provider and I was able to go with them so I stayed healthy and alive AND saw the bears!! Other times excursions have been cancelled because of weather and then you get your money back and start looking for something else!!
