Soxfancruiser Posted September 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2007 I just found out my room # on the Liberty is 8275, a balcony room on the Verandah deck. We are very excited, as its our first cruise with a balcony! However, we didn't want a connecting room, as we aren't going with anyone else. Are these rooms exactly the same? And do we have to share a balcony? Any info on this would be great, thanks!

It can only be opened if both sides are unlocked.
chitown cruisers Posted September 29, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2007 I would think that you would probably have to have two chairs and an end table instead of a sofa to allow for the door (thats how our friends was on the Miracle) here you can see the door in relation to the bed/bathroom ...that is unless they put the door on the wall at the foot of the bed. S.S.Oceanlover Posted September 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2007 we had cabins 8427 and 8429 which were connecting cabins on the Liberty. We had a couch. Bill
Soxfancruiser Posted September 29, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted September 29, 2007 Thanks everyone! That was really helpful. I don't mind either way, 2 chairs or a couch, as long as I have my own balcony! Thanks again! Happy Cruising!:)

S.S.Oceanlover Posted September 29, 2007 #7 Share Posted September 29, 2007 out of curiosity.....where was the door? This was the exact layout of our cabin. The door that connected the 2 cabins was on the right hand side right before the balcony door. Bill

The door that connected the 2 cabins was on the right hand side right before the balcony door. Bill Thanks....I know my friends balcony was the very forward balcony on the deck with the attached interior.......due to the angle of the bow of the ship, they might have had to locate the door in the forward part of the cabin. I bet in most cases it's at the foot of the bed. I'm booked in the forward upper balcony with my boys in the attached interior...I'm expecting two chairs.
