CC Membership Level Name Changes

Just logged on to Captain's Club and I noticed our Membership is no longer Select but now reads Silver. Has anyone heard about these name changes. I wonder what Classic & Elite have been changed to if at all.

For whatever it's worth, ours still reads Founders Classic.

Thanks for the reply. I called the Cust Rep says she was unaware of the name change and not to worry because her records say we have Select benefits. I sent her a copy of the web page with the membership weclome and the silver level for her own records.

I have recently had a dispute with Captains Club about my status, which they said they would change to Select. I was rather confused to see it now reads Silver. Does anyone know if that is the same, a new name , what ?

Captain's Club rep didn't know anything about a "Silver" designation, but said not to worry about it, their records still show me as "Select".

 

Don't know what this is all about...it will be interesting to see if anyone gets an answer.

Maybe it will change to Gold?

 

Doesn't matter to us, regardless unless the perks become something we can actually use.

Just off the Constellation TA and our cards read "Elite Member". What they call the various membership levels is pretty much irrelevant. What counts are the benefits that apply to each level and while they could be improved, there were a number of special activities on the TA that were reserved for Elite members. What matters more to me is the overall cruise experience that a cruiseline delivers.:)
