waverunners with kids?

Looking at Island Marketing's waverunner tours. They have 3 seaters which would be great for our family of 5, I think. Those of you who have gone with kids - how did it work out? How old do the drivers need to be? I think everyone wears a lifejacket. How hard is it for the 3rd person to hang on?

We were on the waverunner tour. We actually had the little jet boat but we all went out together. We went SSSSOOOO fast and it was so bumpy that I didnt know how everyone stayed on the jet skis. If there were kids on I guess you could just go slower but everyone else in the group will probably go fast.
