LHP Posted April 1, 2008 #51 Share Posted April 1, 2008 I feel that way also - but at least at this point, what they are offering is more than they WERE offering... Perhaps after achieving that 25 cruise point they could offer a 10% (of fare) OBC until you get to 50 (where you then get a 50% credit). Then from 51 to 74 I think a flat 20% OBC would be nice... 76-99, let's shoot for 30% !!! Now you are starting to talk REAL incentive to repeat and repeat... Or how about a houndstooth black/platinum... :D Tom I agree. I hate to sound shallow....but the current "sticker" or insignia does not cut it. If someone has cruised with you 25 times or more...the card should be something that really stands out!!! IMHO
Texarribean Chick Posted April 1, 2008 #52 Share Posted April 1, 2008 That's a really good question and one I would like to know the answer to as well. When the program first came out...there were as few as 8 (4 of which was our family) and as many as 15. Now (on some cruises that have an older clientele) the most we have seen is around 35. However, I have read posts about 150??? Now whether that is true or not ...I don't know. I will ask John and see if he knows.... Hi to all. My husband and I have been on 20 Carnival Cruises and have been platinum for a while now. In my experience - there has only been approximately 10 other members on each of our cruises. Just a little FYI from someone else. Bye for now. Chick.
