Newbie bed question

If we have a cabin with twin beds that can be pushed together for a queen, does that mean there will be that horrible crack in the middle? I hate that. Is there anything we can do about that?

we didn't have one on our last cruise, but if there is one this cruise, i am going to ask for an eggcrate. i have never had to do this, but with having bad problems and hating the middle divider in the bed...i just may this trip.

I always wondered why 2 twins pushed together didn't make a "king"... There was a hardly detectable 'crack' between the beds. They put a few layers over it to disguise it. It never bothered me & i had to search for it, b/c it wasn't visible.

Never been a problem for us, but I will also request an eggcrate because I sleep on my tummy (when I'm not posting on CC).
