spirit new england time in halifax ??

Could anyone who's been on the spirit tell me if you had to set your clocks ahead before arriving in halifax want to rent car but not sure if I should use our ships time or halifax time which is one hour ahead of ours Thanks..Theresa

Most of the time they set the clocks ahead one hour the night before Halifax but they will announce any clock change in the daily paper in your room and probably with a separate sheet on your bed as well.

When we went last month, we stayed on ships time when we were in Halifax. The ship stayed on EDT while in port.

Just came back last week. We did not have to change our clocks...we stayed on ship time in all ports affected.

Thanks I want to rent a car in halifax and needed to put in the time for pickup and return just wanted to make sure I used the appropriate time

You are reminded to stay on ships time when in Halifax. We didn't bother to change our watches, since we needed to know when the ship time, and not the local time, meant we had to be back on board.
