Balcony sizes on Westerdam

Decoydonna

Recommended Posts

We've never sailed HAL before and are considering the Westerdam in January. The deck plans look like the VF & VE rooms have a smaller balcony than the other standard balcony rooms. Am I right? Anyone have measurements? Also are the VF or VE covered?

Thanks

The VE and VF verandahs on deck 5 are about 4.5 ft deep, the side VA/VB/VC on decks 5 through 8 are about 6 ft deep, and the VD and VF on deck 4 are about 7.5 ft deep. All are about 9 ft wide. All are covered except for the outer 1.5 ft of those on deck 4. This pic was taken from a deck 5 VC, to show how the dividers between cabins open up. Note how the deck 4 railings extend.
