cruzinfmly2007 Posted October 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2007 We're cruising with Royal in a couple weeks and are planning to book shore excursions through private operators. Some of the tours start first thing in the morning, local time, and I'm worried that we won't be able to get off the ship (not using local time) in time to catch the excursion. Apparently priority disembarkation isn't granted to those booking excursions privately and I have no idea how long it takes from the time our itinerary indicates we arrive in port until the last passenger wishing to disembark gets off the ship. Any insight?

Any insight? The only ship that has a different time than local is Carnival Elation...they stay on Pacific and here in Cabo we are on Mountain. awesomemamma Posted October 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2007 That is 1 hour later right?
dbdave Posted October 5, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 5, 2007 Correct. 8 am Pacific would be 9 am Mountain.
cruzinfmly2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted October 5, 2007 I called Royal and they said the ship stays on the same time as the port of departure. In our case that means the ship will be 1 hour behind the local time. Guess I'm back to the drawing board to plan the excursions. :(
