Booking Royal Carib while on X Cruise

Can you book a RCCL cruise while on X and if so, do you get the RCCL OBC credit amount or the much lower X credit amount?

 

Anyone who has done this since the changes to X credits.

I know you can book a RCL cruise while on Celebrity but I can't answer the question about the OBC amount.

Yes you get the on board credit. I rebooked my Summit cruise on the Liberty to get the $200 obc when I got home I cancelled the other booking and immediately received my cruise deposit back. No problem.

I know you can book either on either line...I do it all the time...

Not sure about what OBC you receive but....

 

While on the Liberty of the Seas in July, I booked TWO future cruises--one on Celebrity, one on RCCL...

 

For my Celebrity 14-nighter, I received a $200 OBC, for my RCCL 7-nighter, a $100 OBC...I got my one-category CC upgrade for the "X" cruise, but not for the RCCL cruise...
