I know you have to pay for alcohol and sodas - but what are you options for other drinks that dont cost? juice- lemonade - iced tea etc. We are sailing with 2 teens who do not drink soda.

also how much room is there for storing luggage - is there any room under the beds?

Tea is free along with most of the drinks in the buffet such as lemonade and juices.

There is storage under the beds, as long as your luggage isn't too tall.

It has been our experience that the beds in the mini-suites are a bit farther off the floor, and hence accomodate larger suitcases than the beds in the regular staterooms. And it would seem that one needs as much space as possible in the regular staterooms.

We always found it best to bring luggage that would fit inside each other for storage. Usually, the fit under the beds without problem, but we have one larger bag that needs to go in the back of the closet. There is also plenty of room in the back corner of the closet if you have more luggage then the beds will accomodate.

 

24/7 coffee, tea and iced tea are available free of charge. Juice is free at breakfast either in the dining room, buffet or room service. Milk is available with meals but is only set out at breakfast at the buffet. After that, you need to ask for it. There is no lemonade or fruit punch available on Princess, sorry!
