Hi

13th january QM2 cruise from new york . Can anyone advise on which side of the ship to book a cabin for best views ? If no real difference, will go for an AA guarantee.

many thanks

Go for the AA guarantee. You're likely to be on deck when you leave New York.

In an ideal world, you'd have a port cabin coming in to New York, but you'll be on deck to see the Bridge in all likelyhood, and if not the side doesn't matter. It's only that the Statue of Liberty is on the port - and you'll have seen that leaving New York.

On the other hand, with the AA guarantee you know you have single seater dining and you might get a freebie up to Princess. Possibly more likely than if you had an AA booking, although the upgrade fairy is a bit of a law to himself.
