Booked Overnight At Ramada In Ft. Lauderdale (cruiseport/airport Motel). Would Appreciate Any Comments Regarding The Airport Pick Up, Breakfast, And Cruiseport Shuttle.

We stayed there in May and are going back for 2 nights before our Nov 7th cruise. In May we did it after our cruise from the Miami port. They said to call them after we'd gathered our luggage and they'd send someone to pick us up. When I called the driver was already at the cruise terminal so that part worked out well.

Our room was large and had an iron, coffee maker, etc and looked out over the pool area. We spent the afternoon by the pool (look for the big green iguana roaming around) and then had a nice dinner at the hotel. The breakfast was good.........many hot items....eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. There are 2 computers in a small room across from the lounge with free internet access.

We enjoyed it here.......everyone was friendly and helpful and the place was clean.

We stayed there pre-cruise in February with a group. It is your basic older motel type room, clean with a coffee maker. The pool area is landscaped very nicely around an average sized pool. The full breakfast that was included was excellent. We didn't use the shuttle service as we had rented a car and turned it in over on 17th St. and they shuttled us to the pier from there but it did look a little hectic in the lobby. There was a very large group (not part of ours) there so that probably increased the volume utilizing the shuttles. For the group price we got (it was Super Bowl weekend) it was a good place to stay pre or post cruise. We would probably use it again.
