Lahaina car rental?

B&C-Cruisers

Recommended Posts

I need some advice on car rentals in Lahaina, after looking at several sites on Google, I need some input about which company is closest to where we tender on RCCL Radiance, we will be there on October 27th.

And if any of them will pick you up at the dock or provide a shuttle to the pickup/drop off location.

Any information will be appreciated.

we used hertz

the location you have to pick for lahiana is the west maui airport,

but the office is NOT at the aiport its down the street from it ,

i cant remember what street its on,

we didnt take a shuttle since my bro in law lives in maui so he just picked us up and took us there,

but they had the best rates and they upgraded us to a luxury SUV for free.

im going to email my in laws to see what street its on... for sure

I just need to add to this after checking the Hertz website last night. There are several Hertz locations on the west side. The one for "Kapalua West Maui Airport" is on the main highway and closer to the airport. The location that is actually IN Lahaina is listed as "West Maui Rental Center." I know it's a small difference, but it is significant. Use the location that's listed as on Papalaua in Lahaina if you want the location closest to the tender pier.

Otherwise, there's an Enterprise at the Sheraton in Ka'anapali (about 8 minutes north of Lahaina) and a couple of Hertz locations in hotels on Ka'anapali beach.

The other major companies have locations which service the West Maui Airport (designator JHM) that are kind of on a "rental" row on a little side street a bit south of the airport. It's not terribly confusing because the companies typically send shuttles to the pier and will take you directly to the rental locations which service the airport.
