Luggage Valet service on the Mariner

Recommended Posts

This is a great program. For $20 a person, they will print your boarding passes for your flight and your luggage tags for you. When you place your luggage outside your stateroom on the last night of the cruise, they will pick-up your luggage and the next morning it goes straight to the airport.

We were off the ship by 7:15 and on the bus heading to the airport. Going through Customs was a breeze with only our passport and customs form. We did not have to deal with our luggage or stand in long lines at the airport ticket counter. We were able to go through the security check point and straight to our departure gate. It sure did save a lot of time at the Orlando airport. It was the best $40 dollars that we spent on the cruise.

We will use this program next year on our next cruise.

How do you take advantage of this, we were on Mariner in July and are going back again next July! It would have been so much easier with the kids if I could have done this!

The info will be delivered to your stateroom and it has to be turned in 2 days prior for departure. We have just came back today from a 7 night cruise from the Mariner, and they delivered the info on the luggage valet either tuesday or wed night. The program worked great and we were the first off of the ship.

Do you have to use RCCL transportation to take advantage of this? Also, does it include all airlines?

On the paperwork, it lists the airlines that are participating in this program. We flew delta back and I don't think it makes a difference on the transportation and how it was booked. on the form, they asked 5 or 6 questions and you must be able to answer yes to all of them. They did not loose our luggage, matter of fact, our luggage was one of the first to come out on the belt at the airport.
