Seven Mile Beach or Rum Point?

Which is better for hanging out. We have 18 in group.

Thinking of doing Majestic Tour to Rum Point but wondering is Seven Mile Beach better?

Is the ferry running from Hyatt to Rum Point?

Alot of sites say the Hyatt is not restored after hurricane.

Anyone been there lately?

Thanks for any feedback.

I was at Rum Point in September and its lovely as always, Hyatt run the restaurant at Rum Point and the food was very good.

I like Seven Mile beach but haven't been back there since 1997.

I will be there in December. I've been to Grand Cayman in the past and have done the snorkle, ray thing. This time we have rented a jeep and I plan to take the family to Rum Point.

We are planning so far to go to Rum Point but wondering what to see along the way. No one wants to go into water.

Thanks Laura

We were just there last week with a party of 17. We went to Sea Grape Beach which is part of Seven Mile. We got a small bus that we all fit in to take us there. We got this right where all the taxis line up. We walked down the road a little bit to find the bus. The price that they all advertise is $6 to SeaGrape. We haggled with the guy and got him to take us there for $5, and bring us back for $4. The guy pretty much stayed at the beach the whole time we were there. I asked him if he went to Rum Point and he said it would be about $20 a person. I'm sure you could get a better price if you haggle with them. After being to both beaches I think Rum Point is much better than Seven Mile.
