leadout_kv Posted October 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2007 Hello, Sorry if this has been asked before but after reading a few other posts about other ports I'd like to clarify the time differences between the Cayman Islands and the Ship. We are traveling on the Carnival Freedom in December. We will be arriving at the Cayman Islands (per ship time) at 8am. My wife and I have a diving excursion planned with Divers Down (per Diver's Down time) at 11am. If I set my watch for ship time at 8am what time (per my watch) do we need to be at Diver's Down? Thanks
CanadianEh! Posted October 17, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2007 my guess is your leaving from florida? In December GC and Florida will be in the same timezone so it shouldn't be an issue. I know when we leave from Tampa in Jan the GC and tampa are the same timezone
familycruising4us Posted October 17, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 17, 2007 Ditto. I have my excursion booked already for our Jan 2009 cruise in GC. In the confirmation email, it stated GC will be in Eastern Zone, same as ship after daylight savings... Have a great cruise!

I don't know that I could wait that long or book that far out. Why did you book so far out? I know many others book far out. I'm just curious.
