jevotm Posted October 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2007 Guys, wouldn't be great if the public restrooms on ships had a tv so you could watch Sportscenter and a shelf next to the toilet so that we could rest our bucket of beers there while using the facilities? jevotm Posted October 17, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted October 17, 2007 What???!!! Women don't watch sportscenter and carry buckets of beer into the bathroom? No, they cant, its just not allowed. I believe its under the same policy as swim diapers and saving seats in the show theatre. If RCI catches you in the ladies room with a bucket of beer you can be put off at the next port. ricko19 Posted October 17, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 17, 2007 There's a Red Robin restraunt in Seattle w/ TV's in the Bathroom. It's AWESOME!
jevotm Posted October 17, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted October 17, 2007 Ricko, the Champs sports bar near my office pipes in the sound and has TV's in the stalls and above the urinals. It is one great facility especially at tournament time.

jevotm Posted October 17, 2007 Author #10 Share Posted October 17, 2007 I just so happen to believe that men are the primary sufferers because of PMS. As a matter of fact we suffer because of PMS, MS, and PostMS.;)

Onessa Posted October 18, 2007 #13 Share Posted October 18, 2007 Shoot all these years I thought a Lanyard was to carry the bucket of beer around your neck with. :D No wonder this was marked for men only -- women are far more sophisticated! -- Get with the times guys - layards, shelves, buckets???! Your camel back is for the beer! There are ones with multiple compartments -- so you can have a domestic lager in one, a micro-brew ale in a second, and an import in a third!!! Plus, it is the perfect excuse to wear comfy "work out" clothes!
CanadianTwosome Posted October 18, 2007 #14 Share Posted October 18, 2007 Aren't women curious? hee hee Yes, I too was unable to resist peeking. Happily, I see this thread isn't nearly as 'uncomfortable' as the 'women only' thread!! It's definitely funny though, so thanks jevotm, and sorry for barging in where I'm not wanted!! Then again, I've been in a few men's rooms in my day... and I have to ask, based on the comparisons I've made... don't you have more to complain about than a lack of television? ha ha ha ha ha ick!
rachel0 Posted October 19, 2007 #15 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Why do you need a beer--it's your vacation, go ahead and wear a beer hat! so much more convenient.
jevotm Posted October 21, 2007 Author #16 Share Posted October 21, 2007 Rachel, even with that contraption on they would still need to add the tvs in the toilets to make us men happy. Cmon we are on vacation, why cant the cruise lines do something nice for the men?

Conrycol Posted October 22, 2007 #18 Share Posted October 22, 2007 If any line had that it would book up quickly. The wives can book their spa treatments and we men can take our beer and relieve our self in comfort. LOL

CanadianTwosome Posted October 22, 2007 #21 Share Posted October 22, 2007 Ummm... if Sportscenter and beer is the main priority, why not just spend the vacation money renovating your home bathroom? You could install an extra soft seat, a beer fridge, and a flatscreen that you could see from all angles... why leave home? :p
jevotm Posted October 23, 2007 Author #22 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Canadiantwo, that is a great idea, but I am looking for something special while on a cruise. We men deserve a nicer lavatory, one with Sportscenter and a beerholder would defintely heighten the vacation experience. But they are not the "main priorty", they are only treats that would improve the bathroom "break".
CanadianTwosome Posted October 23, 2007 #23 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Have you considered a twelve step program? :p Maybe along with 'Friends of Bill W' there should be a 'Friends of George Grande' meeting!
jevotm Posted October 23, 2007 Author #24 Share Posted October 23, 2007 If they would have a Friends of Henry gathering I would be sure to attend. Wasn't this thread marked "for men only"? Maybe in the great white north that phrase means something different then here in the States.
CanadianTwosome Posted October 24, 2007 #25 Share Posted October 24, 2007 Who's Henry? As for it being 'for men only', I guess that's just one more big difference between men and women... some women actually do enjoy Sportscenter - and most of us have at least experienced it at some time or other... but I don't know any men that... well... feel free to join in on the 'for women only' thread if you want to!!! ha ha ha  :p
