You might check the ports website and see if they list shore excursions.
mariemorgan Posted October 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2007 You could try booking the youngest one directly with the Dolphin Discovery. On their website it states for the Dolphin Encounter: Minimum age: 1 year Children under 8 must come with a paying adult (per child) as a companion We do not permit pregnant women to participate in this program. Dolphin Discovery Cozumel is located in Chankanaab National Park. The Dolphin program includes the admission fee and taxes for the park. http://www.*****cozumel/dolphin-encounter.asp
lhaddon Posted October 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2007 Are you talking about Cozumel? If so, my daughter was 3 and my son was 5 when we went to Chakanab in Cozumel and swam with the dolphins. My daughter absolutely loved it. abitaturbodog Posted October 18, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 18, 2007 I would suggest that you book directly with the Dolphin Discovery site rather than thru Carnival. You'll save money and be able to let your youngest participate. Just google "dolphin swim caribbean" and you should find a couple of places. We went in Nassau and had a wonderful time...but the water was COLD! Good luck!

We went in Nassau and had a wonderful time...but the water was COLD! Good luck! Make sure you book ahead...this tends to fill quickly...and double check the "ship time" verses Cozumel time when booking your appointment. Cozumel is very tourist friendly and a ship excursion is not necessary. There are times I recommend using the ship excursion in Cozumel for the Dolphin swims because they do book quickly (especially with lots of ships in port). But if Carnival has that age restriction...then you have no choice. Happy Cruising!!!
