Chmie Posted October 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2007 I am going to ask our room steward if we can buy one of their animals. Has anyone done this and, if so, how much did it cost ?

I haven't looked lately, but they used to sell "towel animals" that were like beanie babies in the gift shop. If they still sell them, I suspect they would send you in that direction rather than selling thier towels. D
SheriNtexas Posted October 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Carnival has Towel Critter classes, so you can do your own. Fred Yep, take the class, the towels animals will likely not make it home in one piece (or 2!)

Cruisin Dave Posted October 19, 2007 #9 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Also removing Animal towel critters from any Fun Ship is subject to stiff penalties including life in prison. :D Buy the book. In fact I have all the CCL books. I also have one of the smaller towel animals you pick up in the git shop. His name is "Davey".:D
Chmie Posted October 19, 2007 Author #10 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Maybe I should have added - Making one is out of the question as, according to wifie, I can't even make the bed. But, with my luck, I would spend $20 for one of these critters and some customs guy would tear it apart when we disembark.
georgiacruizer Posted October 19, 2007 #11 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Does anyone know which mini towel animals are available in the gift shop? I think I saw the pig once but I can't remember the others. Also, how much do they cost? The thing about the ones in the gift shop are they're stiched together so they don't come apart like the regular towel animals. The book is very cute. I think it cost $12.95. suncoastgirl Posted October 20, 2007 #13 Share Posted October 20, 2007 There is also a dog, Davey. I know there is a rabbit in addition to the others mentioned previously. They cost $7.00.
