Alaska-Juneau Dock, is it finished?

Hello!!

We are scheduled to dock at the AJ dock in Juneau on June 22. I understand that this is a new dock and when I checked on google, I found only proposals and construction information. I am wondering if this dock is completed and will be available for the upcoming sailings of the N. Star and N. Spirit.

Serenade of the Seas docked at the new Juneau dock during our 5/30 sailing.

 

I did notice the Norwegian Star was still doing tenders the day we were there (6/3).

thanks! Do you know if your dock was called the Alaska Juneau (AJ) dock or if there may be a couple of new ones?

 

I am a bit confused about the Norwegian Star tendering you mentioned, as she is in Juneau on Tuesdays, which would be June 1. She is impossible to mistake, though, as she has large STAR's and streamers painted across her bow. Was this the ship you saw?

zimmerjulie, I think I've confused myself (not hard to do!).

 

Now that I think about it, it was Ketchikan where the Norwegian Star was doing tenders. (You're right -- with all those stars, she's impossible to miss!).
