jruth4 Posted October 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Does Journey have a computer lab on board? I am most interested in whether it will be possible to download my photos and create a CD. If there is a computer lab, is it staffed? Are there classes given on working with Adobe Photoshop? I was on Oceania's Nautica last and their computer lab was great, open 24/7 and staffed every day some hours and all day during sea days. I downloaded my photos everyday, put them in albums, edited them, and made a CD. When I returned home, everything was organized, and it was simple to print the photos and in record time. I'm hoping I will be able to do the same on Journey in Dec. Any info on this would be appreciated. -Judith
Isaac Posted October 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2007 There is a computer lab with 12-15 computers with internet capability. It is staffed and classes are offered. I don't remember if they offered Photoshop. They did have some very basic classes like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I would imagine they could help with your photo downloads, though I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure they had a photo download kiosk in the Casino near the photo center for printing pics. Shoreside, those usually have CD making capabilities as well so that may be more helpful for your needs.
nlvc12 Posted October 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2007 While I am aware that the ship charges for the use of the Internet with their computers (or your own), do they charge for use of the computers that does not require online access, in other words, for typing up a memo, or transgerring photos from camera to disk. How much to just use the computers?? Thanks. Nancy
