susanema Posted October 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I don't like loud, sudden noises (gun fire, firecrackers, balloons, etc). Do any of the shows on the Spirit have pyrotechnics? I'm talking fake gun shots, sound effects, anything loud and sudden. Thanks so much!
Toyz711 Posted October 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2007 the musical shows are just that music/dance/song. if they have a comedy group or a magic act...i would sit near the exist, just in case. when are you going? the music shows don't change that fast, but some of the other acts move around more. what's on the ship now may not be next week. when are you going? Toyz711 Posted October 23, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2007 some of the shows, other then the musicals, can change every 3 to 6 months. wait until closer to your cruise to find out what entertainment is on the ship then. you should have not problems with the musicals, they are usually salutes to broadway, salutes to love stories...that type of thing. pretty family-friendly. the worse problem with the ones i saw (on the star) was the music was louder then the singers. otherwise, very tame. JerseyGem Posted October 24, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2007 There are usually two shows (repeats) each evening. If the description of a show is questionable, you could skip the first show (and have dinner then), ask someone who did go to the first show what happened, and then decide.
