Last December we were in port with 6 or 7 other ships. We booked a catamaran/snorkel tour on line - not with Carnival. Stingray City was VERY crowded when we first got there - so they took us over to the reef for our first snorkel stop and then we went back to stingray city - it was still crowded, but not as bad as when we tried the first time, but there were more stingray for us to see/get pictures with than there was the first time we were there 7 months earlier. After stingray city we went on to the coral gardens for our other snorkel stop. EVERYONE (9 of us - ages 21 to 79) said it was the BEST excursion we ever went on!

We are going with the same company this December, but can't go on the 3 stop trip (3 hours)- as we aren't in port at the right times - so we are going on a 2 stop trip (2.5 hours).
