Walkie-talkie's or 2-way radios allowed onboard?

Hi all. First time cruiser here:o

 

Looking forward to 1/6/08 onboard the Valor!

 

Just wondering if anyone knows if we can use walkie talkies to contact each other while onboard the ship. Do they work? Any brand recommendations or type we should consider purchasing? We will probably need 3 or 4.

 

Any help is appreciated. I couldn't find an answer to this on the Carnival FAQS page. I also sent them an email with this question, but never got a response :(

Yes, you can bring and use walkie talkies. Sorry, I don't have any recommendations.

If you dont want to invest in walkie talkies, then you can rent them on the ship too. they work great and we use them on every vacation, land or sea.
