pkw Posted October 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2007 This is our first time cruising and after reading the fantastic information on this site it sounds like the aft stern balcony cabins are very popular. We are looking at the Musica in Europe in August 08 so I inquired with MSC today and she is trying to get me to upgrade to a higher level on the sides of the ship. She told me that with the stern balconies people can walk in front of them on the walkway so they are not as good as the side cabins. I am not sure if she has a valid point or if she is just trying to get me to upgrade. If someone could let me know thier thoughts I would really appreciate it. sea-explorer Posted October 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2007 Can't really help as I don't know the ship, but would the deck plans be of any help to you? http://www.msccruises.co.uk/flotta/pianinave.asp?ship_id=129&page_id=1400
pkw Posted October 27, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted October 27, 2007 Thanks for that - we have looked at the deck plans and there looks like there may be a walkway but I dont know how many people if any would use it and if it would be an issue. Motravellers Posted November 16, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 16, 2007 Do you like to keep your drapes open so people can look into our room? If you close your drapes, why not take an inside cabin. The same thing can happen on side cabins, if you're on the promenade deck.
