Are there any independent tour companies that offer the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale watching comination in Juneau that you highly recommend?

I don't know about a combined indpendent tour if not booked through the cruise line. But I know that if you do Capt. Larry's (Orca Enterprises) whale watching tour they will drop you at Mendenhall galcier and you can buy a $5 ticket for a bus back to town when you're ready to return. I think they run every half hour or so.

Captain Larry from Orca enterprised was fantastic, we did the whale watching with him, one of the highlights of our cruise. Got to see a whole pod of whales bubble feeding. For Mendenhall you really can do it on your own, only thing ships tour does is bring you there and pick-up.
