Summit 8/13/04 voyage to Alaska

Having just returned from the 8/13/04 cruisetour on the Celebrity Summit (actually, I returned last Monday night), I can again confirm that Celebrity Cruises is excellent. This is my third Celebrity Cruise and in comparison to the HAL, Princess and RCL trips, I find myself most pleased with service, food and overall experience. The land portion of the Alaska trip was also a very enjoyable experience. The guide and bus driver were so enthusiastic and charming, the entire busload of us gave them warm hugs when we parted ways. Alaska was unusually warm and the wildfires unfortunately created a lot of smoke and haze, but nevertheless, we all had a good time. I would definitely take Celebrity again.

I'm so happy to hear you had a great time. Which Cruisetour did you book on Summit? We are looking at cruisetour #19 for next July. Did you stay pre- or post cruise? Any tips you could give me for booking would be appreciated.
