That's probably correct. I wear a size nine shoe and my fins are 8 1/2 - 9 1/2.

 

However, I recommend you try them on first. You want to be certain they're comfortable. I know my shoe size can vary slightly depending on the style and brand. That might be true for fins, too.

I bought fins online and the sizes were all in men's sizes. Assuming you wear a women's 7.5, you probably want size small fins.

Different manufacturers will often have different size scales. Before you buy, get information on how the specific brand relates to shoe sizes. Also, be sure to specify that you want a relation to a woman's shoe size as many brands only address their relation to a men's size.
