jmaze Posted October 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2007 Has anybody tried the tea on Carnival? My son likes sweet tea and I would just as soon he drink that as drink a lot of soda on our cruise. Is tea included or do we pay for that as we have to pay for soda? Thanks.

cathyz Posted October 30, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2007 But it's not sweet tea, he'd have to add sugar.
adamsmom Posted November 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Most cruise lines have sweet tea, but it's instant. But you could give it a try. I ask for a cup of hot tea (decaf) and a glass of ice. To be the right amount of sweetness, I have to put 10 packs of sugar in one cup of hot tea. I was surprised how much sugar is in it! But I think it's still better than Coke. Plus, you have to pay for soft drinks, either individually or by buying a soda card. I take along a big travel mug and make myself some tea in it to carry on deck with me. Carnival ships have a drink bar with lemonade or limeade too, plus milk and hot chocolate. When my son (12yo) gets off a ship, I think they probably wish they didn't have milk on the drink bar.;)
